The system is built from an evolutionary requirement engineering approach with specification and design according to ISO9241. The approach contains three iterations of:
- User requirements engineering and refinement (including comprehensive stakeholder analysis and scenarios at the beginning of the project
- Architecture design specification and refinement
- Prototype development, system integration and testing
- Pilot deployment
- Evaluation
- Lessons learnt and change analysis
The first year will be used to develop first proof-of-concept prototypes that will be deployed in the pilots. The technologies will then be continuously deployed in the pilots and evaluated on a yearly basis until the final pilot in year 3. The results will be compiled together with the latest updates from other tasks and user needs. All information will be used to update and refine the technology and the requirements, and, eventually also the architecture specification.
